Happy New Year!

ID-100224725Happy new year! It’s great to have you on board. It’s an interesting time of year, the holiday season is over and the rest of the year is in front of us. Personally I’ve never been more excited about the year ahead… I have my targets set out for where I want to take my Internet Marketing career and while I know that I am going to be busy I am more than up for the challenge.

I deliberately gave myself a few day’s break over the holiday season. It was great to spend some time with friends and family, but at the same time it was difficult to switch off from what I am looking to achieve here as my mind is constantly buzzing with ideas. You will find that Internet Marketing gets you that way.

I made a massive decision last year to not follow the trend in the UK which is to go straight to University from secondary education. I had mediocre grades that I wanted and received an offer to join the course that I had chosen, but when I really thought about it I didn’t deem it necessary to learn more theory and out of date mind you for the next two/four years. I basically wanted to see some tangible results for my efforts, rather than be marked against a set achievement criteria. Of course I’m not dismissing the achievement of those that have worked hard to get their grades in higher education, it’s more about what works for you personally.

I very much fall into the young and ambitious category, but if you have read my blogs you will hopefully have got the message that  I’m certainly not naive… I can sniff out a bad deal and I’m not going to recommend anything to you that I wouldn’t use myself and is not going to be of value to you.

It’s easy to read about all of this stuff, but there is a time when you need to take action – as the old proverb says “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” – although the point here is that you need to move from reading to acting, not that it’s going to take you forever before you see any results from your efforts.

Lets hope the new year brings us both great success, so stay tuned!

Until Next Time,

Stuart
